Rhelaxer Update: Jan 16 2011

So I thought I could stretch to maybe 24 weeks, but I couldn't do it. I made it a little past 14 weeks. I relaxed with the Mizani butter blends system mild formula this time, and it took to my hair fairly well, I was able to apply it quicker this time and spent a great amount of time smoothing the hair... here are the results although I didn't take pictures right after the treatment these are 1 week post...




I don't ever think I could get this long ever! APL here I come!!!!

New Things in 2011

1. Simplifying my weekly Reggie...


Pre-poo the night before wash days with shea butter or castor oil
shampoo once weekly with HE LTR shampoo
Deep condition using my hooded dryer
low heat styling (rollerset, flexi rods etc)
Moisturizing & sealing 1-2 times a day (this I have to get serious about if I want to retain length and my ends!!!
take multi-vitamin daily, MSM, Cod Liver oil, 5mg Biotin
low manipulation during the week


2. Trying new Product
Aphogee 2-step protein treatment
Roux Moisture recovery
IC Fantasia Deep Penetrating Treatment
Neutrogena Triple moisture silk Leave-in


3. Get my Aunt to do a corrective relaxer...

be-Beautiful Vitamins in Review

So I finished my bottle of these vitamins maybe 2 weeks ago, and I can't really say I can attribute the vitamins helping with the growth of my hair but it did do something wonderful to my nails which have been recovering from years of gel overlays...any who im going back to my 5mg of biotin & 30 g of msm...

Goals for 2011

This year is going to be about maintaining health & length!!!


1. continue to deep condition weekly
2. TLC to my edges and nape, shea butter and rosemary EO nightly
3. protective styling ( I will continue with wearing weaves)
4. biotin & MSM supplements... got to stay on top of that!
